We remember with our deepest respect and fondest memories, a mentor, a friend, a teacher, and a mate, the late Kyoshi Ed Skipter.
He trailblazed and pioneered Zen Do Kai in South Australia.
From humble beginnings of his first ever club in Hindley Street, Adelaide which he took over from Bob Jones after Bob set it up in the 1970s, to what is now Lord's Dojo, that journey continues today!
We are grateful to his wife and soul mate, Anne- Marie Skipter for allowing us to use his family dojo name, Lord's Dojo, and to continue the vision and the work laid down by Kyoshi Skipter, one of the original warriors of the Bob Jones Martial Arts Style who sadly passed away in June 2021.
In his journey into Zen Do Kai, this is Kyoshi Skipter at the completion of his Black Belt grading with Bob Jones!
Kyoshi Skipter would often participate as part of the rituals and protocols of Zen Do Kai - this one is the Senjo Ceremony!
